Replace the outside siding of your home with stucco. Outside siding is easy and quick to install but you may need permits and professional assistance. Once installed, exterior siding will last for many years.
Even if your tastes are in step with current tastes, styles will change over time. Your choice of kitchen tile and countertops may be in line with current fashion, but if you don’t plan to sell your home for another ten years, the style may well be dated when you sell.
Paint the kitchen cabinets. An easy kitchen home improvement project that most anyone can do is to repaint the cabinets. A dull, lifeless kitchen can easily be brought back to life by a new coat of paint on the cabinets. Select a bright, crisp color and a new coat of paint on the cabinets will change the look of the kitchen. It will look clean and fresh. With the sharpness of the new paint, the kitchen will appear and feel larger. A light, bright color seems to expand the feel of the room.
Go to used book stores and purchase How-To books. Now that the internet is the be-all, end-all, do all, the old Encyclopedias showing “How To” are available cheap at yard sales and used book stores. Then, when you’ve got a project to do, you’ll have information at your hand to get in there and get started on it.
Consider replacing your roof with shingles that are lighter in color or even using white tiles. Having a lighter-colored roof will reduce the amount of heat absorbed by your attic and upper floors, making your house more comfortable and reducing the energy needed to cool it during those hot summer months.

Things like roof defects, bad ventilation, or other hidden problems can be located by professional inspectors. When you invest in proper inspection in advance, you save money on potential repairs in the long run.

The show set was built by the home improvement tool “Man Caves” and features a small basketball course, a golf simulator and a full service bar including a keg. The show began broadcasting in the summer of 2009 after the sets completion.
Wall to wall carpet is expensive to replace so i am not suggesting that. Perhaps you have a worn spot or stain in the carpet. Why not use a scatter rug to cover the spot. If you have a worn spot on one side of the bed, use identical scatter rugs, one on each side of the bed, and no one will be the wiser. If the worn or stained spot is near to the wall, you can use a large wicker basket filled with magazine to cover the spot. Even if your carpet is in fine condition, a scatter rug or two will add depth and interest to the room.
